Penguin 4.0 Released!
No More Waiting on a Penguin Refresh, Penguin is now Live and Real-Time.
For the past 4 1/2 years since Penguin was initially released, once penalized, you had to wait for the next “Penguin Refresh” before you could reclaim your higher SERP’s. Now, however, with Googles most recent release, that wait is cut drastically short as Penguin is now running Live and Real-Time.
This morning, Google announced that they are rolling out the final individual Penguin update.
Penguin Now Page Specific
The new update to the Penguin algorithm allows it affect individual pages of websites, instead of entire websites as a whole.
No More Penguin Updates
The new update has placed Penguin under the core Google Algorithm, meaning there will be no individual updates, per se, of the Penguin ranking signals. This does not mean Penguin will no longer be updated, only that updates to the core algorithm may or may not contain updates to Penguin itself, and will not be confirmed by Google.
